October Fun!

I love that the weather is getting cooler and that I get to start wearing sweaters. Saturday night was even cool enough to wear a hat and mittens. 

There was a lantern parade in Fells point so we took the Charm City Circulator up the road...

Where there was a free shuttle out to the park.

This sign turned out to be a huge lie. Every 10 minutes and every 45 minutes really are not the same.

However, the free shuttle was actually a really cool party bus....

And even though we were late for the parade it was still pretty awesome

And the Margaritas we got afterward were even better....

I love tetris

I will admit it I love playing Tetris.

I am doing training at work this week, which takes place at night.

So I am home all day.

Alone.

And a little bored.

There is only so much daytime t.v. you can watch.

I did start the dishwasher to be a little productive.

That took 2 minutes.

So I got wrapped up in a thrilling game of online tetris.

A little to thrilling.

Now I'm running late.

Ooops...

This actually is very exciting and I am very pleased 

that people actually find me interesting.

I am not sure who the actual 2,000 person was but I do know this person visited at about 3:25 pm on Wednesday.

If I was a tech savvy person (and if it was possible) I would track down this person.

And if I had money I would buy them a present.

Instead all of my readers will have to settle for a virtual high five.

Weekend Visitor

My weekend included a visitor....

A trip to the Visionary Art Museum

A trip to the Museum of Industry (okay it was free thats why we went)

A trip to Federal Hill

and a lot of time on the Harbor

Because it is Wednesday...

Because its the middle of the week

Because we still have two days of work left

Because we love to eat good food

Because mojitos are delicious

What I did this Weekend....

So I recently found out that Baltimore and New Jersey are only 2.5 hours away. This may not really have been relevant to me had Xavier not been running in New Jersey this weekend. With a little planning I was able to make it out there to run. I didn't tell anyone and it was a great surprise!! (Note, while it was only a 2.5 hour drive due to traffic, getting lost, and my extremely small bladder it took me about 5 hours to get there)

 I miss Rachel, and she has been running so well!

 Caitlin, who is now a senior! And yes I did hang out on the bus at the meet

 Mags Reunion! Megan Chambers is so jealous

 Ken was so surprised! Although the plan was to just sneak up on 

him and see his face because I got lost 

and was late I ended up calling and telling

him. Oh well it was still fun.

Last Weekend ( a little bit late)

Late weekend I had some visitors from the north. The parental units made an appearance to experience baltimore and all it has to offer. (And to visit me of course)

We had a wonderful weekend and walked around the harbor many times.

We also got free Geico stuff at a tent. Here we are modeling it.....

Linda really enjoyed the farmers market.....

Seafood dinner (without any seafood)

We decided to have a seafood dinner. 

But we are poor and cannot afford seafood

and one housemate is a vegan

So we made Veggie Sushi

And Zucchini Crab Cakes

Who knew you could make crab cakes with zucchini instead of crab? Well I found out online that you can.

Housemate: Look at her. its like I used to dance and than I got implants and it hurts too much

Housemate: I am offended by (name of housemate here) comment about the skirt coming off of Florence Henderson. BRADY MOTHER.

Housemate: I hope this gets more interesting. I'm bored.
